Maybe you have been notified or maybe not, but on February 4, 2025, I (“gmads”) was banned from the site.
The reason? I created a thread called: Reflecting on the latest events (250204). This thread contained only one post titled: This particular topic here no longer has anyone discussing “PM to/from moderators”. I was about to publish a second post when the whole thread was deleted. From that point on, it became a situation of me republishing it and a certain global moderator (most likely the author of the post I wrote about in my post) deleting it back. The following are two screenshots related to the thread and post.
It was after the second or third round that the ban was put into effect.
Please consider that with this webpage I am not looking neither for anyone to make a fuss about this nor to be accepted back; in fact, I was already on the verge of leaving. I wrote it so that those of you (you know who you are 😉) who are aware about how things are being handled by a couple of global moderators and how censorship is really getting worse by the day have the opportunity to read the infamous post and see what was that that really got the moderator in question so worked up.

It took me some time to decide to also publish here what was to be the second post at the censored thread. That post was meant to explain why I had written “their [sometimes irrational, chaotic, and without criteria] actions” at the first post. Just as a reference, that specifically had to do with the irrational and indefensible removal of my video at what I think was my last post at the “Are you…” thread, the PM I received about it, and my respective answer.
